Abstract

There is a close relationship between the quality of syntax structure and rhetoric. Rhetorical aims are expressed by syntactic structures, and the quality of syntax elements is influenced by conceptions and rhetorical aims. This paper deals with one of the most important syntactic structures in the Persian language. It regards the conjunction of sentences whose verbs are different. In the past, this structure was used in order to serve rhetorical aims, such as showing certainty in doing of verbs. It is, hereby, explained how this syntactic structure has been formed and what changes have occurred in the syntax of Persian language to cause this structure. References are also made to the differences among the studied forms.
