Abstract

One of the distinguished figures of Iran's art and culture is Rashid Yasami, the master. He is the one who has written Persian poems with systematic innovations.
Presenting a short biography of the late master, Yasami, this article deals with his innovations in contemporary Persian poetry. As it turns out, his poems intertwine new and old elements in a code and concept coherence. As for the vocabulary and phrases, he utilizes figures of speech particularly well - placed innovated simoles of his own.
Various feet and formats, sporadic traditional styles, and new subject matters are the other features of Yasami's poetry which all point to his extraordinary mental and verbal capacities.
