Abstract

Throughout the history of economic studies, human abilities happen to remain uncared - for. They are given no place in the three - slot categorization of production factors; hereby, the land is granted by nature, the man - power (conceived as a non - qualitative homogeneous raw factor) is provided by laborers, and the capital is limited to goods easy to produce en masse.
Such a crude realization of production factors which views the capital as material goods has but to ignore human abilities, hence such a defective wisdom on economics. The benefit of investment in qualifying the man - power is two - fold. Firstly, it wakes up the dormant talents, upgrades the skills, and improves the individual’s productivity. Secondly, if distributions are well placed, it dramatically enhances the economic system. In short, the qualified side of the man can be utilized as a capital with which to procure better -sources of income and abundance. Owing to this fact, human abilities, deserve every due consideration.
