Abstract

Intuitive perception is one of the most important aspects of human understanding. It belongs to human inner world of perceptiveness, as it is related to realm of human consciousness. In comparison to scientific/philosophical method of understanding, intuitive perception is preferable to understand real essence of the universe. Those who are more intuitively oriented people can observe the real identity of things. According to Ibn-e-Arabi, "Truth" is the "land of intuition" and its features are different. It cannot be defined and its language is symbolic for those who have not perceived the truth. This study, based on a literary research, has tried to collect data to offer its findings descriptively. The definitions of truth and intuition are introduced. Based on what Ibn Arabi has sensed, the article talks about the essential position of intuition besides its "Time, Place and Language". Revelations or intuitions include the following four aspects: 1. Seeing the truth 2. Finding the essence of life 3. Communicating with spirits 4. Offering samples of Holy Koran. This study indicates the importance of intuition and its different features and provides some evidence regarding the events happened to Ibn-e-Arabi. It can be an introduction to the ways that people can use to observe the secrets of super nature.
