Abstract

The policies of first Pahlavi period were influenced by various discourses, one of which was discovery of veil law that by creating chaos, left adverse effects on natural, artificial and social environment of Iran that we see it in the novel "The Story of a City" by Ahmad Mahmoud. Therefore, with a descriptive-analytical method, looking at society and nature, we investigate application of western woman sample in Iran and its effect on natural and human environment in order to answer these questions that consequences of power that is in conflict with structure of society How affect on all its levels? And how people of Bandar Lenge face normalized process in western culture, i.e. discovery of veil, in which women have become subjects that affect other elements of environment? results indicate that application of normalized process of Western culture, because was in opposition to the traditional Iranian-Islamic culture, formed resistance in society and left adverse effects on the natural, social and artificial environment of Iran. effect that showed in the transformation of exploitation of sea: not doing business with reputable traders and presence of non-native fishermen and tearing nets of native fishermen and filling their cold storages with fish, image pollution: appearance changing of market, corruption of women and men, migration of people, affecting trade with world and turning to smuggling. such effects show vital role of sea in lives of residents of Bandar Lenge, and shows that residents of Bandar Lenge are not meaningful actors and obedient subjects of power.
