In Ferdowsi's Shah-nameh, Goudarz, the son of Kashwad, is one of the famous heroes who appears for the first time in the story of the Mazandaran war, and after accompanying Iranian heroes in the battle against Turanians and non-Iranians - and even death many of his sons and grandsons in this way- in The beginning of the kingdom of Lohrasb leaves the scene of the story. , Goudarz, who plays nearly seventy roles in the Shah-nameh, is a powerful, forward-thinking, wise and vengeful general, who can be considered one of the most prominent heroes of the Shah-nameh after Rostam. Goudarz 's role in scrolls and oral narratives of the Shah-nameh is much bigger and more important than the Shah-nameh, and he performs works that have not been mentioned before in epic literature. In this essay, the author intends to display from the beginning of his birth to the end of his life - By examining the collection of scrolls and oral narratives of Shahnameh- , and show the narratives and references about his life and deeds that is unprecedented in Shah-nameh and heroic literature.
