Abstract
Folklore or oral literature is a rich source of the subcultures and traditions of a country, an important subject for anthropologists, psychologists, historians and politicians.
Because of the scarcity of data, it is very difficult to speak about Luri poetry. The poetry has been always combined with music and chants. This paper brings into focus a few aspects of Luri poetry such, as the concepts of “rifle” (Brno), poverty love, widow love, epic love and, feministic poetry sung by men and others.
