Hafez’s thought, in contrast to what traditional studies on Hafez represents, has fundamental bases without which the accounts of Hafez poems will not achieve their own significance. These bases that form Hafez daily concerns make the building blocks of Hafez thought. The most important of these bases in his poems are:
- Death
- Determinism
- Existence
- Hedonism
