This article investigates the strategies of rural development in the third world. The method of the research is descriptive-analytical. The aim of rural development is to apply certain strategies for the betterment of rural economic and social life. The development of rural areas not only depends on the farming devices, but on different perspectives of land, society and rural economy involved. Different strategies of rural development include technocratic, reformational, and radical ones. They rest on the discipline of open-market. The most important factors affecting the rural development are land reforms, technological educational research, diffusion, employment established, rural institutions, industrialization, price policy, circular relation with different supporting economic and all sections and harmonious development policies. Undoubtedly, any rural development planning should take place with regard to the strategies mentioned above along with natural, economic and cultural conditions of the countries involved.
