This study examines and compares ideology in the lexical, syntactic, and rhetorical layers of poems of Simin Behbahani, (1927-2014) the Iranian poet and Golrokhsar Safiava (b. 1947) the Tajik poet. in both, poems associated with the dominant ideology of their time; In Behbahani's, the feminist ideology is more explicit and characterized by modern words, feminine language and new perspective, but in Safiava's does not express feminine feelings explicitly; Feminine themes find their way into her poetry but are not dominant; Her poetry is mostly Identified by nationalism.The ideology of both poets is revealed through all three layers of language (lexical, syntactic and rhetorical); The symbols of Behbahani's poetry cover the feminist discourse, and the symbols of Safi-Ava's poetry are national-patriotic with the color of war and defense. There is ideologies reflection in the linguistic layers of both; But Safiava's is more explicit and ideology is more distinguish in her vocabulary layer; In Behbahani's, ideology is mainly in syntactic and rhetorical layers and give his poetry an artistic individuality; From this point of view, Safiava's has remained Clichéd.
