The book“Anis al-Nas”written in the9th century with the subject of practical wisdom.
Two editions of this book have been identified.One belongs to the Majlis library,which repertories have identified as Shoja,based on the sermon of author.The other one belongs to Tehran University Library,which,due to the fall of the beginning of the book,the repertories,based on the subject,have registered it by the name of“Treatise in Ethic and Politics”and considered its author to be“GhavamoddinMohammadYazdi”,the elder brother of“Sharafoddin Ali Yazdi”.
According to the author's statement which is available in the first edition of the book,the book is written in 20 chapters In the version of"Treatise on Ethics and Politics"it remains until the middle of chapter 18.
In this article,while pointing out the features of the first and second editions of Anis al-Nas's book,we will discuss how the second edition can help to resolve the ambiguity and omissions of the first edition that appeared in the printed version.
Also,what has been obtained about the main author of the book,“QawamuddinMohammadYazdi”,and his books will be presented and analyzed.
