The Ajayeb Almakhlooghat and Gharayeb Almowjoodat was written by Mohammad ibn- Mahmoud ibn- Ahmad Tousi in 6th century AH. It has 10 major chapters that narrate wonderful phenomena, events and creatures. The present study is a descriptive-analytic reading of persuasion techniques in this work to show how the author uses different mechanisms to ideologies, and wonders of creation. It is shown that the author relies on allegorical stories and parables from the holy book to justify strange phenomena in this world. Results indicate that the author refers to verses in the holy book to relate religion to science. References to wonderful features of rocks and plants, strange animal behaviors, and extraordinary events are intertwined with the author’s ideological and propagandic beliefs, revealing the didactic nature of the work. In fact, the author uses cosmologic and ideologic orientation to persuade his readers to reflect on creation and the Creator.
